Food Assistance

LifeSource International provided food assistance to approximately 26.043 individuals/families in 2010. This was accomplished in several different ways.

Life Source Food Pantry

Food Pantry

  • Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
  • Monday evenings 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. for working parents
  • Thursday 5:00 p.m. for Spanish speaking families
  • Personal hygiene and baby items also provided
  • Authorized USDA Food Distribution Center
  • Authorized Diaper Bank

 

Hispanic Food Outreach

  • Thursday evenings 5:00 p.m. for Spanish speaking families
  • Serves approximately 1,300 households each month

 

Senior Lunch

  • 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month
  • Hot meal is served
  • Entertainment and fellowship
  • Care baskets are distributed
  • Serves approximately 228 each month

 

Yvonne Richardson Center Outreach

  • Last Monday night of each month at 6:00 p.m.
  • Hot meal is served
  • Entertainment and fellowship
  • Food basket distributed
  • Serves approximately 220 families each month

 

Local Church Food Outreach

  • Sunday mornings, once a quarter
  • Food baskets distributed
  • Serves 250 per quarter

 

Guatemala Feeding Program

  • Provide assistance to feed 50 children 3 times per week
  • Located in Guatemala City, Guatemala
