Food Storehouse

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:30-11:30 a.m. , Monday evenings from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for working families, and Thursday evenings from 5:30- 7:00 p.m. for Hispanic speaking families.

  • Stock Food and Clothes Pantries
  • Miscellaneous Warehouse Duties
  • Assisting individual clients with food storehouse and assessing needs

 

Senior Saturdays

  • 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • Help prepare meals, set tables, serve food, interact with seniors, clean up

 

Kid’s Life Volunteer

Kids Life After-School Program

September-May. M-F/3:30-5:30 p.m.

  • Tutoring in Reading and Math
  • Mentoring
  • Developing Positive Study Habits

 

Community Meal Outreach (held at the Yvonne Richardson Center)

Last Monday night of each month, except for May, November, and December; then it is moved up to the Monday before the holiday.

  • Help prep, cook, and box up meal – 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.
  • Load truck with prepared meal and pallets of food for food baskets – 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
  • Unload truck, set up tables and food, serve meal to clients and clean up – 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
  • Groups Welcome
