Food Storehouse

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:30-11:30 a.m. , Monday evenings from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for working families, and Thursday evenings from 5:300 7:00 p.m. for Hispanic speaking families.

  • Stock Food and Clothes Pantries
  • Miscellaneous Warehouse Duties
  • Assisting individual clients with food storehouse and assessing needs

 

Senior Saturdays

  • 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • Help prepare meals, set tables, serve food, interact with seniors, clean-up

 

Kid’s Life Volunteer

Kids Life After-School Program

September-May. M-F/3:30-5:30 p.m.

  • Tutoring in Reading and Math
  • Mentoring
  • Developing Positive Study Habits

 

Community Meal Outreach (held at the Yvonne Richardson Center)

Last Monday Night of each month, except for May, November, and December then its moved up to the Monday before the holiday.

  • Help prep, cook, and box up meal – 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.
  • Load truck with prepared meal and pallets of food for food baskets – 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
  • Unload truck, set up tables and food, serve meal to clients and cleanup – 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
  • Groups Welcome
